As regional owner of EXIT Realty Texas NE, Julie is leading EXIT’s expansion into the dynamic North Texas real estate market.  Julie’s incredible track record of real estate success meshes perfectly with EXIT’s reputation as the fastest growing real estate company in history.  Perhaps it’s just a coincidence, but Julie’s first day at EXIT, September 3, 2002, was the 6th anniversary of EXIT’s founding.  

 

Born in Bliss, NY, near Buffalo, Julie grew up in a family environment that fostered a strong work ethic as well as a sense of encouragement and inspiration.  “Six weeks after I was born, my mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis,” says Julie. “But she refused to accept it.  She was told she would be in a wheel chair within six months, but she went on to have five more children, and didn’t accept the use of a wheel chair until thirty-six years later!  Her courage, fortitude and determination have been the building blocks of my life, and the foundation of my career.”

 

The family moved to Central Florida when Julie was 13, and it was there that Julie entered the professional world, working as a paralegal for a real estate law firm during high school and into college.  With each transaction she worked on, Julie gained additional knowledge.  “There I was, at a very young age, out there in the business world, working with top executives, attorneys and commercial real estate agents,” she says.  “But I saw that as a paralegal, I was bumping up against a glass ceiling… there would be only so much I could do, only so much income I could make.  But my day-to-day exposure to the successes being achieved by others gave me the confidence to go forward and begin to create success for myself,” Julie says.  So, she earned her real estate license, and started her career in new home sales, working as the only sales person in an up-scale development of 36 new homes. Interest rates were high, but within 13 months, Julie had sold 34 of the 36 homes in the development.  Her next project, 24 custom homes in another planned development, sold out in 18 months.

 

Her string of successes continued – at her first position with a general real estate agency, she was the top selling and listing agent.  When the firm was sold, she joined RE/MAX and once again, became the top listing and selling agent, and was named one of RE/MAX’s “Top 25 Sales Agents in Florida.”  By continuously setting, achieving and re-setting her goals, her professional progress never flagged.  She opened her own real estate office in Orlando, and in her very first quarter in business, she had her best quarter of sales ever!  “I built and worked my data base methodically, and was building an office that encouraged my agents to really make a difference.”

 

Nine and a half months later, she had her first exposure to EXIT Realty.  Her initial instinct was to avoid people who were recruiting her, but then, something told her to give it a chance.  Julie did, and the rest is history. Within 15 minutes of being introduced to EXIT and its unique business plan, Julie knew that EXIT would be the direction she would go.

 

Julie’s single EXIT Realty Metro office grew into three, 2 in Orlando and one on the city’s outskirts. EXIT’s many propriety tools, including software programs, training, marketing assistance, coaching and lead generation allowed her agents to maximize their production power.  But more importantly, with EXIT’s unique residual income program and powerful benefits, Julie was able to attract and keep good agents, professionals committed to turning their dreams and goals into reality. 

 

According to MaryDell Rose, a member of Julie’s EXIT Realty Metro management team, “Julie is the consummate professional and leader.  She’s compassionate, caring and fair, always concerned with how her decisions will affect her agents. She sets a tremendous example for all of us to follow.”

 

With her Orlando success continuing to build, Julie was approached in 2006 by Steve Morris, President of EXIT Realty, to take over the NE Texas region.  Always ready to grow and expand, Julie accepted. On June 29, 2006, she sold EXIT Realty Metro, took over her new Texas region in late fall and by the end of the year had sold 7 new franchises.  And she’s just starting! “Within five years, EXIT Realty Texas NE will have 4,500 agents, working out of 200 offices, and closing 30,000 transactions annually.”  Talk about a goal!

 

Supporting Julie is her  administrator, daughter Jennifer.  Julie’s husband Tom is a corporate pilot and together, they have a blended family of six children and one granddaughter – and let’s not forget their Jack Russell terrier, Sammi.
